Hi all,

I have upgraded MySQL successfully to MySQL 4.1.10 Standard with the only the following rpms installed: MySQL-client-4.1.10-0.i386.rpm MySQL-server-4.1.10-0.i386.rpm MySQL-shared-compat-4.1.10-0.i386.rpm

Also I am using VMWare to run my Linux machine (hope this doesn't cause any issues).

Even with the upgraded MySQL to 4.1.10 standard. i still get the same error URL http://10.0.1.29/eventum/index.php?err=3

Any ideas? thanks in advance.

hi.. correction, i didn't compile MySQL 4.0.20 standard. Sorry for the mistake. Will now download MySQL 4.1.10 standard and upgrade MySQL and let u know the outcome. thanks again.

Hi Joao, Bryan, John,

Thanks for the replies. Yes Bryan, I am using MySQL 2.0.40 standard, I have compiled it earlier. :)

No, John, I did not upgrade from Eventum 1.3 to Eventum 1.4, it's a fresh install.

Joao, the error message that i get is 3. With the full URL being: http://10.0.1.29/eventum/index.php?err=3

Thanks again.

John,

Is it possible the account is disabled?, such as if you have run the 1.3.1 to 1.4 upgrade

No, if the account was disabled, the following error message would be displayed:

Error: Your user status is currently set as inactive. Please contact your local system administrator for further information.

So that's probably not the reason.
