I'm trying to setup maildrop so it will run the vacation program correctly. The vacation program that I'm using (although I'm willing to take suggestions) is the one maintained by Sean Rima (thec...@softhome.net), version 1.2.6.1

I'm trying to get this to work on a linux server running qmail and maildrop. We're doing Maildir deliveries.

The vacation program works fine if I just stick it in the .qmail file:

|preline vacation mort

however, when I transfer it to the .mailfilter file and stick a line like:

cc "|vacation mort"

it doesn't seem to work. It does deliver the mail to the "mort" mailbox, but does not respond, as one would expect.

Any ideas would be appreciated. mh
