Did you try turning off Hardware Acceleration in the same menu for openGL?   Try that and give it a shot.

When selecting/ erasing something in SketchUp, it doesn't select what i'm clicking on but what is underneath it. keep in mind that (1) my video graphics driver is up-to-date with much over 64 MB of memory, and (2) i have already tried this work-around that doesnt seem to work!    1. In SketchUp, open the "Window" menu.    2. Click "Preferences."    3. Click "OpenGL."    4. In the "Acceleration" section, select the "Correct reversed picking    driver bug" option.    5. Click "OK."

There is one way, however, that I can get around this. That is by deleting sketchup and then downloading it again. After I download it and I open it up, it works perfectly. But when I close it down and open it up again, the selecting problem occurs.

Is there anything else I can do. I do not want to continue deleting and downloading new sketchups each time I exit the program...- Hide quoted text
