Hey Keith have you ever heard of the commands
ren *.hh *.hpp
ren *.cc *.cpp
Anyway I wonder what your problem is. Any good compiler can include any file
#include <whatever.hh> works exactly the same way as #include <whatever.hpp> or #include <whatever.xqj> provide the contents of the included files are the same.
Besides MySQL is a database PRIMALY developed on Linux/Unix systems and is open source so the naming conventions are PRIMARILY for people with that background.
Yes but why should people who want to develop aplications for the windows platform (since every regular computer has windows....) have to strugle to get it done with the most used compiler?
You can offcourse crawl in your unix/linux shell, yell real hard at microsoft for being bastards, and be oh so right, but at the same time there are lots of people, not taking on mysql++ because of that same reason...
I haven't used MySQL++ but if it meets the ANSI standards then the problem is with Visual C++ and not MySQL++
Correct, but that doesn't mean MySQL++ should just ignore the whole issue.
Forget about Visual C++.
Yes, and work on some crappy (but more consistent) compiler which is not supported by the whole industry.... It would take enormous amounts of time I and I guess most programmers don't have...
Yelling boo doesn't get you anywhere...
Lucas.
