Agreed. But they laid out 4 specific criteria. I missed the part that one of the criteria was "what they want for the operating system". If that was correct, you are saying google and oha wanted for their OS to initially have apps like MyCloset, cooking app, call-a-cab and weather app?

Little kids and whiners? Did you look at some of the losing applications? Many of the developers for sure are professionals (e.g. plusminus, peli)

Losing in lottery is easy to accept since we knew that rules were strictly followed. If they have just said that winners will be selected by lottery then you will see no whining today.

It is quite obvious that the largest problem here is the fact that making it so easy to enter brought a bunch of little kids and whiners that all 100% expected their application to be the best.

If you buy a lottery ticket and happen to loose that lottery, do you sit and cry about it?  Google knows what they want from THEIR OPERATING SYSTEM and they and the OHA have a clear view of where they plan to aim the platform and market it.

They were looking for applications that hit those key points and that people(s) in the OHA see as a benefit to the Operating System.  Learn to lose, settle, and make your money by selling your application. Sell 10x more then the ADC Phase 1 winners and prove google wrong if your gonna be a pansy about the results.

Pathetic.
