This was an enormously valuable posting - to me at least - and went straight into my "HOWTO maildrop" folder. I'm Postfix -> maildrop -> Courier IMAP, too :)

Just one question: is your Bayes database system-wide, or per user? Wasn't clear from your local.cf.

I'm pretty sure his bayes database is system-wide since spamc runs as the user who runs maildrop, "vmail". Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Does anyone have a setup where they have per-user bayes databases for virtual users? I'd be *really* interested in that setup.
