Jody,

I am having problems very similar to those described throughout these Leopard threads. When I try to use the pan tool it freezes for ~5-10 sec. then it will let me pan around my model at full speed (no lags) as long as I keep the middle mouse button and shift key depressed. When I attempt to pan again the same thing happens. The only fix seems to be turning off the hardware acceleration (I tried disabling fast feedback with no results). This is obviously not my preferred fix as one takes a performance hit and I paid for a hardware accelerated card that I am not getting to take full advantage of. I am still using OS X 10.4.11. So, none of the Leopard graphics updates work for me. Has there been any luck getting these issues resolved with the 10.5.3 and Apple Graphics Updates?

I know that the Sketchup team is already aware that these issues are creeping up on Mac's running Leopard, but I wanted to let you know that Tiger (at least mine) is also affected. Is there any chance that these issues may be addressed in a future version of the software, or a patch. If it helps I am running a Aluminum iMac dual core 2 Ghz processor with 3 GB of RAM and the current version of Sketchup (as of 6/19/2008).

Thanks,

Daryl Jensen
