I think this is correct, too. . . . bash-2.05# cd /mail/mario bash-2.05# ls -aln total 8 drwx------ 3 666 666 512 Aug 7 10:51 . drwxr-xr-x 41 666 666 1024 Aug 7 10:51 .. -rw------- 1 666 666 825 Jul 16 09:37 .mailfilter drwx------ 25 666 666 1024 Aug 11 10:17 Maildir

Could have somethig to do with permissions or ownership of a .courier / .mailfilter file too I think.

Still guessing.

Thanks for your help.

I'm going to take a guess... perhaps you are using virtual hosting or for some reason the uid of the message being delivered does not have access to the directory ABOVE the Maildir - which may in your config be the virtual HOME, which would be referenced for .courier files etc. Without configs or more knowlege of the structure you used though, it's hard to help

Yes I'm using virtual hosting. The virtual users have the uid 666 and gid 666. The homes of the virtual users are chown'ed 666:666 and chmod'ed 700.

I think this is correct. Any ideas?
