Bill Doerrfeld, CEO of Blue World, will present the opening keynote address at Lasso Summit on Monday, April 15, 2002 at 9:00 am. He will showcase the new Lasso 5 product line. Immediately following, David Axmark, co-founder of MySQL AB, will discuss their new strategic alliance with Blue World.
Those of us in the Lasso community are delighted to see David Axmark of MySQL AB as a speaker at Lasso Summit 2002 Europe. For those of you in the MySQL community who are curious as to what is all the business about Lasso and Lasso MySQL, you're cordially invited to come to Lasso Summit!
The Lasso community is growing steadily, and it consists of lots of very knowledgeable and helpful Web developers. And, if you're curious as to how Lasso stands up against other Web application servers and middleware products such as PHP, ASP and ColdFusion, note that there's comparison white papers posted on the Blue World Web site (http://www.blueworld.com/). With the imminent release of Lasso Professional 5, all of these reports are being updated and a new one comparing Lasso to PHP is in the works!
Anyway, those of us in the Lasso community very much look forward to getting to know more of you in the MySQL community.
