If you can send and recieve emails by squirrelmail/sqwebmail, then you problem is not authmodule at all.

POP3d is for recieving emails like imap only using different clients. SMTP is for sending emails (in all cases, at least it seems for your configuration)

It seems like you have one of two problems: improperly configured pop3 for recieving pop3 and using your pop3 clients or improper configuration of your pop-client.

Its almost impossible for anyone to tell you what you are doing wrong if you do not provide adequate information such as screem shots of error and or error logs.

how can i configure pop3d . i can login via pop3 client but i cant send mail i get some error.

First off, pop3d has nothing to do with sending mail. It only allows you to retrieve mail from your mailbox.

Second, you gave us no information to go on. You can't expect to get any useful help if you don't tell us what the problem is.

Try again and include some extra information:

1) How are you trying to send mail? From the command line? From a different machine using Outlook? Some other way? 2) What is the exact error you get? 3) Are there any relevant entries in /var/log/maillog? 4) Anything else you can think of that might be useful.
