Somthing else I just discovered; I can create the same problem by asking for too many sides on either circle.

Thank You! It is definatly size related. I was creating a wire loop, as part of another model, which was a .625" loop of.0313" diameter wire. The Programe would not accept this small radius to create the circle, so I changed it to .04" and it accepted this, but I then ran into the priblem I described. On Your suggestion I tried increaseing the radius just .001" at a time. At (radius) .024" I got the outside half of the hoop, at ,025" I got the hoop (donut). So I will scale the model up; I can deal with that. Thanks, I got really stuck on that.

Hi Kermit, hi folks.
It sould work unless your model is so small that SU cannot close any face. Any edge smaller than 1 mm or about 1/16 inch will prevent a face from closing.
Can you post your model ?
Just ideas.
