Hi,

I'm trying to access the public depot (public.perforce.com:1666) from behind a firewall. Our network admin suggests that I need a socks-ified version of p4. I'm not able to login to our firewall machine to run ssh or anything.

The suggestions I have read seem to apply to the situation where the server is behind the firewall and the client is outside - in which case the suggestion seems to be to get a process running on the firewall machine to forward packets (ssh).

Has anybody had any experience/success getting this to work?
