Yet "localuser" is a local account and "mydom.ain" is in the both the
domain lists in $sysconfdir/locals and
$sysconfdir/esmtpacceptmailfor.dir/locals
Courier reads etc/esmtpacceptmailfor.dat, and this file does not contain
dom.ain according to the log.
Did you run $PREFIX/sbin/makesmtpaccess ?
Hello Roland, thanks for putting me on track
I did run makesmtpaccess, but this only created smtpaccess.dat from
etc/smtpaccess. etc/esmtpacceptmailfor.dat was not created. But remembering that
courier in most cases accepts a flat file instead of a dbfile, I just copied
etc/locals to etc/esmtpacceptmailfor and - hey presto! Mails pouring into local
acoounts by the minute.
Thank you again. Maybe I should tweak makesmtpaccess a little, though...
