Don't mind me. I just saw that the CF's name is disk :)

Hi, all.

I bought a couple of PCMCIA CF adapters, installed them in one of the RSP4+, but i can't format or read it. The CF and the adapters are ok, since i checked them on a laptop.

Router#sh ver | i RSP4+ cisco RSP4+ (R5000) processor with 262144K/2072K bytes of memory. Slave: cisco RSP4+ (R5000) processor with 262144K bytes of memory. Router#sh ver | i ATA 31744K bytes of ATA PCMCIA card at slot 0 (Sector size 512 bytes). 31296K bytes of ATA PCMCIA card at slot 1 (Sector size 512 bytes). Router#format slot0: Format operation may take a while. Continue? [confirm] Format operation will destroy all data in "slot0:". Continue? [confirm] Enter volume ID (up to 64 chars)[default slot0]: %Error formatting slot0 (Unspecified error) Router#format slot1: Format operation may take a while. Continue? [confirm] Format operation will destroy all data in "slot1:". Continue? [confirm] Enter volume ID (up to 64 chars)[default slot1]: %Error formatting slot1 (Unspecified error) Router# Router#dir slot0: %Error opening slot0:/ (Device not ready) Router#

Are there any tricks i should know?

Thanks,

We support flashdisk on an RSP4+ but not on the RSP4.
