I have read many of your postings on this mailing list and I find that you are very opinionated and rude.

Sometimes he is, but he's also the author of the software, and answering endless questions regarding unrelated software gets old.

My email is quite appropriate, as Courier is the main problem I am having - Postfix is working fine - it's the maildrop program that is giving me the hardest time, but you'd know that if you didn't focus on the fact that Postfix is a part of the package I have chosen to implement.

If you want to use maildrop with Postfix, the postfix list may know better what the problem is. They may point you back this way, but that's the risk you take.

As far as I know, most of us use the Courier SMTP server rather than Postfix, and aren't familiar with its particular setup for virtual domains, external MDAs, etc.

I don't see maildrop mentioned in your "postconf", so I'd start with this page: http://www.postfix.org/MAILDROP_README.html

Consider this page, as well: http://www.firstpr.com.au/web-mail/RH90-Postfix-Courier-Maildrop-IMAP/

...and pursue the issue further with the Postfix list.
