I just tried to install courier-0.22 step by step based on the INSTALL-file. Configure, make, make check and make install works fine. But the first test (sending the 5000 messages to the test account) fails. I only get the message invalid mail address. I created the following user : user: tmail group: courier Then I logged on in this account and created the 2 mail dirs $HOME/bounces, $HOME/test and of course the 2 files $HOME/.courier ( with the line ./bounces) and $HOME/.courier-test-default (with the line .test). After that I started as root authdeamond and courier. Back in the tmail account I run the perftest1 script : sh perftest1 5000 "tmail-test-1 tmail-test-2 tmail-test-3 tmail-test-4 tmail-test-5".
