Hi Milo,

Hello List, Dear Bryan.
It's been a while since I've been active with eventum, but our management gave a GO to officially start working with it last week.
I signed myself up for translation about 6 months ago and contacted Erwin Wondergem today to get an update on the status. He told me that you where still in the process of integrating GetText. Is this true? Are you still waiting on certain files because translation is needed by my boss.
Sorry it has been slow project. Gettext is now integrated into the templates and we are just about ready to begin the actual translation. I worked on getting it ready to send out last night but was unable to finish it. I will work on it more tonight, and hopefully can send it out.
I will actively participate again and made arrangements with Erwin to coordinate the dutch translation.
Please put your name on this page: http://eventum.mysql.org/wiki/index.php/Localization and sign up for the even...@lists.mysql.com mailing list since that is where all localization discussion will happen.
Please let me know the status for the translation project and on what points we can help speed up things.
The main thing you can do right now is to understand how gettext works, and install gettext utilities so you are ready to work once I send out the files to be translated.
Best Regards,
