Change "exit" to "logout" there. If you use "exit", it will print the word "logout" on the screen after it has cleared the screen, so there will be a trace left.
"logout" is a built-in command in csh. "exit" is built-in in every shell ;) E.g., I never use csh, so logout does nothing but errmessages me.
