Hi,

This is somewhat related to a post about product search: http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Base-data-API/browse_thread/thread/909f1bce8a01dc73#

In short, the same search in base.google.com and the API will _not_ return the same results. Each service uses different methods for relevancy.
