As GData now has 3 properties alive and kicking (for the record, Calendar, Blogger and Base), we would like to feature some user written applications, articles of best practice, sample code that you have written to solve some recurring issue...
To kick this off, I would like to start with the C# code (suprise). If you are interested to have your code, sample or document become part of the immortal repository, and available to all users, here is what you have to do:
- prepare your code/document as a .zip file. Attach a license to the code/document, that is identical to our documentation/code licenses. We don't want to start mixing/matching here. Feel free to leave your contact information in there, so that honor goes to those that deserve it. But be warned that this has the usual disadvantages if the document/code is published, as spammers are always lurking around the corner.
- send it, with a short describtion what this solves/showcases to gdat...@googlemail.com.
This is clearly a test ballon, so we can not promise anything at all. But, ideally, we should get more sample code, better/more documentation. We might also learn something for the future, like how to improve our initial offerings. And you should get the same, plus the chance to be part of it.
And, once again, i like to invite you to use the code.google.com/p/google-gdata page to submit bugs, feature requests and improvement suggestions for the C# library.
Thanks
