There are two ways to make suggestions: make them here so other GT users and
content providers can agree with you and provide community support for
ideas, or send them directly to Google Transit at
labs...@google.com.
I think both methods will be seen by Google Transit people (Tom Sly and
other Google Transit folks do read this discussion group).
FWIW, I do think that Dennis's idea is a good one.

P.S. Unrelated but probably not worth sending in its own email: the
integration of Google Maps and Google Transit is awesome, but there are a
few bugs. The option to switch from standard driving directions to public
transit routes worked for a sample itinerary I punched in for the Seattle
Area but not for a sample route I put in the Bay Area (although the route
did work when I put the same route into the Google Transit page directly). I
don't remember the exact route and so I can't post test results, but it
appears there are a few bugs to be worked out in the integration of the
two...
