Hi,
I am getting following error very frequently on a shared hosting of linux server "MySQL server has gone away", hosting company says it is causing because eventum uses persistent db connection and if i turn it off then this issue will be resolved,
there is not any specific scenario of this issue, it has shown on many different scenarios like clicking on "List Issue", some times while attaching files, some times on posting internal notes etc.
If this problem occurs then errors.log file immediately gets bigger and bigger, i am deleting errors.log file on daily daily basis with a size of 200+ Mbs.
My eventum version is 2.1.1.
1. Any suggestion to solve this problem ? 2. How can i turn off the persistent db connection option ?
Following are the traces from errors.log
