Here is the line you want to include in the WinMySQLAdmin section of the My.ini file. Change the path to suit your installation. [WinMySQLAdmin] Server=C:/mySQL/bin/mysqld-max-nt.exe

All mysql server varieties are included in the mysql installer, and zip archive. Look in the mysql 'bin' dir for 'mysqld-max-nt'.

I'm trying to get the federated engine and I'm not finding a Max download for Windows and I went through the install process for the one provided and I don't see anywhere to enter the configuration line required.

Am I missing something obvious? The help is very scarce on this topic.
