Thanks for the explanation! This makes a little more sense. Indeed, let's hope Google will improve this, a little caching won't harm but a delay of a few months is a little too much.

I have raised the same concern with Brad. Hopefully, Google will consider making available a production-level real-time parser, right now there is the test parser that is real-time but it is only meant for testing.

I implemented a Google Social Graph on my site showing my outgoing and incomming links. This all works fine but it shows old data. This would be fine for a few weeks but my Twitter account (which I closed months ago) still shows up. My Twitter page doesn't show up on google.com.
Any idea how long it stays in there? Is this the Google index it's looking at or some cached version that shows old data?
