Loren,

I am installing 3.1-RELEASE from ftp via URL ftp://mirror.aarnet.edu.au/pub/FreeBSD/releases/alpha/

as it is only 2 hops away from me.

it seems to install ok but one thing i would like to know is are there any packages for FreBSD/alpha or not ??????
