SourceSafe's shared files. That is, one physical file which exists in two different places in a client mapping. For example, common headers between a library and an application should probably be shared.

Symlinks?

We're working in a Win32 environment, so luxuries (8-)) like symlinks aren't available.

If you only need the files in two locations then you could do it with two client views. And if you use a template for the clients then it shouldn't be difficult to set up for your users.

# From the sound of your requirements, most times your users only want to be editting in one of the views anyway.
