I setup Eventum this afternoon and immediately went about setting up users and passwords. The system automatically generated an email message with an empty From (Which my server - postfix doesn't like either) to indicate a password change. This gets stuck because the configuration of postfix requires a fully qualified us@domain.xxx address.

Perhaps you could force the user to enter a mail From address when the server is setup, before they can change the accounts?

So that is the reason why I got a few mails stuck in the queue after I installed for the first time. Since, these email addresses are invalid, they will never leave the queue.

Is there any page in eventum to manage the mail queue? I could not locate it after a quick search.

When creating a project, we have to specify a project specific email address. Why cant we use this email address to send these mails to users attached to it? One potential problem is that an user may be attached to multiple projects. In that case, as Craig said, a site wide administrative email address could be incorporated in the administration section.
