I have also used SQWebmail to send mail, but when I move these sent emails to my SQWebmail INBOX, and then try and download them, the MS OUTlook Send/receive window displays "Connecting" then

This Outlook is not a web browser, whatever you're downloading those messages from, it's not sqwebmail.

"There was a problem logging onto your mail server. Your Password was rejected. Account: 'mail.xx.yyyyy.net.au', Server: 'mail.xx.yyyyy.net.au', Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR

sqwebmail is not a POP3 server.

This has nothing to do with sqwebmail.

I've contacted my ISP, and they have told me that it is caused because the message was corrupted. But then I can easily move the message out of my SQWEBMAIL inbox to my other folders and back again. It does not appear to be damaged to me!!!

Right. This problem is a known bug in MS Outlook Express.

Go complain to Microsoft.

Can anyone make any suggestions of how I can download my SQWebmail OutBox down to my PC?

Stop using Microsoft's crapware. Use Mozilla or Firefox.
