Aaron/Joao,

I am having a similar problem, but I think I may know why.

I setup Eventum this afternoon and immediately went about setting up users and passwords. The system automatically generated an email message with an empty From (Which my server - postfix doesn't like either) to indicate a password change. This gets stuck because the configuration of postfix requires a fully qualified us@domain.xxx address.

Perhaps you could force the user to enter a mail From address when the server is setup, before they can change the accounts?

Thanks,

Craig.

Sender, hostname

Aaron,

The hostname seems to be ignored for instance it doesn't show up as the sender or reply-to address in sent emails.

This also might be related to another post I made: http://lists.mysql.com/eventum-users/335

This is _probably_ your SMTP server doing that. All I can say is that it works fine for me, so my suggestion is for you to try to look into why your SMTP server is doing that, and fix it.
