For free software, it's an awfully complex renderer with tons of controls, much like 3DS Max.

The big drawback of the renderer though, is that I don't think the exportation of face-me objects works that good, yet. I haven't yet figured out if I am doing something wrong, but as far as I can tell, you need to perform an export for each view you've set up, that way the face-me models will be facing you in that view.

They've ugpraded and completely changed the GUI for the material editor, so I haven't yet figured out a lot of stuff, but it has little helper info if you hover your pointer over different buttons/objects long enough.

The glass controls are pretty slick, allowing you to reflect background images and transparency.
