I'm running MySQL 3.23 (last stable release when I downloaded it a few weeks
ago) on a Windows ME Pentium 600 with 192 MB Ram. Everything starts off fine,
but the virtual memory usage increases slowly but surely even when I'm just
running MySQL server and the MySQL command box client. After about 1 hour, VM
usage reaches about 1 Gigabyte and I start getting system seriously short of
resources messages followed by something crashing.

Is this known behaviour on a Win32 system ? Its just I have to rush demos a bit
if the person I want to show something to is more than 20 mins by car :(

Is there anything I can do to improve the situation, other than buy a linux box
of course. However the learning curve to linux would be too steep for me right
now.

Thanks in advance for all your help.
