There are several people out there controlling CAD files - check out Shiv Sikand and the Cadence integration.

Can anyone out there in user land offer experiences of using p4 with large ammounts of binary files?

By large, I'm thinking around 10Gb of data, files ranging from 0 to 10Mb. Average file size, for what its worth, around 2Mb.
