Subject:Utilizing Multiple Search Forms on Site

I am in the process of securing a search solution for a client's site I am working on. Before I move forward with Google Mini, I wanted to make sure of the following:

1. The site has the need to provide a Keyword Search solution that will provide results for the entire site contents.

2. Two specific sections host publications that are in PDF format. Does Google Mini support the option to provide multiple search queries where I can restrict content/directories to be queried and serve up results only from that specific directory? Theoretically, I have the need to provide a total of 3 unique search forms on the site, all which will have its own unique query function.

I am assuming this is all possible since it supports Reg Expressions, but I just wanted to inquire to make sure. I would appreciate any feedback on this as I am hoping to move forward with securing Google Mini ASAP if it is able to cater to our needs.
