Sorry Alex, It works. I can run all NDB commands
I should have waited a bit longer for the cluster to complete startup.
Another question though, is it possible to make a backup automatically apart from doing it manually from the management server ?
Also, I tried to start a DB node from the Management server and it fails.
ndb_mgm> 2 start Start failed. * 22: Error * No contact with the process (dead ?).
Do you have any idea why.
Thanks.

Please reply to the list as well as me!
Can you post the ouput of show; on the managment server before and during the attempted start of your other ndb commands? I have to say I am a little confused - the only other references for your problem seem to be fixed by adding more API sections. Thanks,
Alex

Hi,
I've added few more [MYSQLD] and restarted the cluster. (see below my config.ini file)

Running this command on one of the node gives following error.
$ndb_show_tables waitUntilReady - 4009: Cluster Failure

What am I doing wrong here ?
Thanks for your help

Hi,
You need to add more [API] sections to the bottom of your config.ini on your managmentserver, then restart the cluster.
With best wishes,
Alex
I\\\\\\'ve a setup of MySQL Cluster 4.1.8 on 3 computers as follows: C1 with MGM C2 with DB1 & API1 C3 with DB2 & API2
From C1, I tried to run following commands: ndb_show_tables, ndb_select_all, ..
and none of them works
I\\\\\\'ve got error like \\\\\"Configuration error: Could not alloc
node id at 147.151.69.5 port 1186: No free node id found for mysqld(API)\\\\\"
Can you help me out please. Thanks.
