Hello,

(Eventum 1.6.1)

I am looking for a way to delete files that originated as attachments.

I found a thread from about March 2005 "Need to remove attached file", where Bryan asserts "Whoever associated the email to the issue should have permission to delete the file. Who is listed as the owner of the file?"

It seems this is not the case. We use Associate Emails to get customer emails into the system. Our customers are not Eventum users, but the owner of the files is shown as the customer email address.

IMO it should be possible for an Administrator to remove attached files. In the same issue it is possible to dissasociate emails, and remove CVS checkin logs, and for users to delete their own logs.

(We have one customer whose emails all contain 3 attached gifs with various logos - the list is getting long...)

regards
