No, I didn't mean to "request reconsideration", I meant to report that the other site had taken your site's content.

Actually, that other site Volantis is at least attempting to offer the content in a form more suitable for handhelds.

I think it very unlikely that the cause of your drop from the indexes is due to Volantis copying a page. Even if it was counted as duplicate content it is very unlikely to lead to the total deindexing of your site. And I think I read somewhere that content that is clearly intended for a different platform (eg handhelds) is not treated as duplicate anyway (i.e. duplicate of PC-targeted content).

And Volantis do/did have a link back to your own site so it might actually be beneficial to you!

Hola Robbo

I'm not sure if using the "Request Consideration" Option in the Web Master Tools is the Best way of doing this, since I have to pledge guilty of something I didn't do in the first place in order to ask for them to reconsider my website, look at this:

By submitting this form, I acknowledge that: * I believe this site has violated Google's quality guidelines in the past. * This site no longer violates Google's quality guidelines. * I have read and agree to abide by Google's quality guidelines.

what do you think? thnx for your help guys.

Masiosare, Hola!

If you log into your Google Webmaster Tools account, you can report this to Google.

That's the best way to report it.

Last week after the "change of algorithm event", I noticed that my website stopped receiving visitors, then I typed the domain name in Google to see if it was indexed and it was not anymore. My website is using a IDN, (Internationalized Domain Name) in Spanish, and is a small website with only 5 pages, I was expecting to test the performance of this type of domain names, and everything was going quite well, at the time of the disappearance it was having around 900-1000 uniques every month, after 4 months.

I have checked every guideline of Google and I'm 100% positive that I haven't done anything wrong, the only thing I have detected is that a company called Volantis has copied the home page of my site for mobile devices and now instead of my website you find theirs instead.

Could this be the cause of my problems?

this is my web site: piñata.com this is the punycode version of the domain name: xn--piata-pta.com

and this is the duplicated content of Volantis: tc2.volantis.com/vgt/xn--piata-pta.com
