I need to build an smp system with a large amount of memory
for network simulation (>=4 gigs ideal).
Has anyone had any successful experiences running smp freebsd on
quad xeon machines with lots of memory?
I'm currently looking specifically at the micron netframe 6200.
The Netframe 6200 is what will be the next wcarchive, although only a
single processor. It's not actually shipping just yet, however - I hope to
see the new machine in a few weeks.
