Hello to whomever can assist. I recently setup qmail successfully on my Red Hat Linux 7.3 system. I have also installed SquirrelMail with the hope of using it to do web based mail management. I then downloaded and compiled Courier-IMAP. My question relates to the Authentication Methods. All user mail is stored in $HOME/MailDir

When I log into the IMAP server both from a telnet session or via the SquirrelMail interface I either get Unknown User or Password or Fatal Error: Maildir no such file or directory error. I assume I should be editing the authdaemonrc file. I was going to try and use authpwd authentication but that doesn't appear to have been put in. Does anybody have steps on this sort of situation to get things all working? Any assitance would be appreciated! Thanks, Rhian
