Great advice, Marisot. Thanks!! I had this question in the past and no one was able to answer it for me.

Hi-

I use Google's iframe option to post our calendar on our website. About a third of the events that display are from another group (one that has their own Google calendar.) We share calendars. They do all the record keeping/entering of information for their programs as we do for ours. The calendar is dynamic and changes without me having to do anything else except maintain my own information! The entire public who can see our website can see one blended calendar. (And there they can toggle on and off whatever sub- calendars they want to and they can tab to week, month or agenda view!)

1. Go into calendar settings for one of your "My calendars." (I used our main calendar.) 2. Scroll down to the "Embed This Calendar" option. 3. Click on the link  that says "Customize the color, size, and other options." 4. Scroll down on the page of settings and select the calendars you want to display (the list you can select from has both "My Calendars" AND "Other Calendars." (You can be pretty selective!) 5. Up in the right-hand corner you need to click the "UPDATE HTML" 6. Copy the code that is in the box and paste that code into the body (between the body /body tags) of a page of your website code.

(Watch out if you change the size settings -- the calendar on my web site disappeared when I experimented with certain sizes ...and CSS... and tables.)

The result is awesome.

PS - We have private information -- we keep it on sub calendars or separate calendar accounts.

Feature Request: make it possible to embed a single display in an external website, but have multiple calendars' events shown on it, possibly at different privacy levels.

In other words, it would be nice to be able to embed the same display you get when you log into Google Calendar into an external site, but with privacy controls.

Use Cases: - University Faculty/Staff: A professor may have one calendar for each research group or lab he/she is associated with, as well as one for any of their classes and possibly a personal calendar.  Each of these could be added to a single calendar display embedded in the professor's personal web page so that students could identify when that professor is available.

- Small/Home Businesses:  The webmaster of a small business may want to put all of the employees' availability on a calendar on the company website for clients to use when scheduling appointments.  By implementing a mashup, each employee could retain control of their own "Availability Calendar," and the web display would remain up-to-date.

- Individuals:  An individual may wish to have different default privacy settings and/or different colors for different types of activities, yet still publish their entire schedule on a single display.  For example, a soccer mom may want to have the soccer team's schedule publicly visible as one calendar while having her kids'
