I have been successfully using courier imap with ssl over port 993 for almost a year now. I never got it up with Eudora 5.1 with starttls on port 143. I get a 'starttls required' message back.

the following flags are set in imapd-ssl

IMAPDSSLSTART=0 IMAPDSTARTTLS=YES IMAP_TLS_REQUIRED=1 TLS_STARTTLS_PROTOCOL=TLS1

is this a problem with Eudora or have I just messed up imapd
