Subject: [p4] ANNOUNCE - Released TkP4 v1.07 - P4 client GUI for UNIX

Several of our users have begun using this welcomed GUI client this
week. Things seemed to be going fine, when all of a sudden tkp4 ceases
to launch.
I now get the following error:
Error in startup script: Tree: item "//depot/Users/[VCafe project file
name omitted]#1 <binary><edit>" already exists in parent "Pending
Changelists (other clients) Default - [one of my users]@[one of his
clients]".
... and a bunch more error text.
Sure enough, when I look at his default changelist, there are two
entries for the exact same file.
Perhaps it has nothing to do with using TKP4, I don't know. He hasn't
used that client in over a month.
Has anyone else seen problems with files being "checked out twice" under
the same client.
Both our server (99.2) and his client (99.1) are on NT.
He reverted one of the entries, which of course reverted both entries,
and now TKP4 runs again.
I haven't yet seen or heard from other users using p4win clients or the
command line p4.exe about any other problems. But something's not right
somewhere, and I'm not sure where to start looking.
