Hello,

Sorry about the Lotus reference, I thought that you were a person on another
list that I had recommended Courier instead of a huge download of Lotus Notes/Domino. Maybe it was someone else.

I would think that whatever machine you route the outgoing mail its bound to
put in headers for various administrivia, I would think that your internal network won't be compromised if you are already using a firewall and that your mailserver is secured behind it. Unless you modify the headers as the machine send's this message out, I don't know how you would do it. I guess its possible in theory. Also you could have IP masquerading and external DNS servers with limited information differing from your internal DNS servers and the like, I feel its too much hassle, but it you feel otherwise you could look into these.

I guess that if this message is being forwarded around the message headers get bigger and anybody (except a postmaster) who would be scanning these has no real life :) :)
