I should add that you may have success with disabling 'Fast feedback'

No guarantees, but it apparently works for some folks. This doesn't slow things down as much as disabling 'hardware acceleration,' but it will slow down SketchUp some.

Experiment with the OpenGL settings (including setting anti-aliasing to '0x')
