Hi Guys,

My setup is courier mta, courier imap, maildrop, and couriers esmtp, with openexchange as an imap webmail client, and authldap to keep everythign working together happily, all using the latest courier.

When I create a new user, my process is: 1) Create the user with the openxchange adduser_ox tool which sets the user up in LDAP 2) Then I create the virtual users home directory under /var/spool/imap/user 3) Then I use maildirmake to create a maildir called Maildir

It all works beautifully, except when the user logs in, all they get is Inbox, and the sent / drafts / spam / trash folders have to be hand created through the web configurator. I'd like to do this on the commandline as part of my user setup.

I looked at what was setup when I do it through the webmail interface, and it sets up .Drafts .Sent .Trash .Spam folders in what appear to me to be maildirs as they have cur new subfolders etc.

So when i setup another test user, I added these folders under Maildir using maildirmake, but the webmail does not show them as subfolders of Inbox.

Is maildirmake the correct tool to use to pre-configure an Imap users sub-folders?

TIA,

Aine.
