Hello
I have a question regarding a possible? Courier configuration:
is it possible to configure Courier to act as mail backup for a certain domain,
say foo.com, and, at the same time, mail for certain mail users of this domain,
say pres...@foo.com, to be stored in a local mailbox so that they can check
their mail even while their primary mailserver is down, connecting via POP/IMAP
to the mail backup.
I've tried to include the domain foo.com in both hosteddomains and
esmtpacceptmailfor directories/files, but it doesn't work. I would like to have
the mail to foo.com stored in the queue so that it can be delivered as soon as
the primary mail server is up, and at the same time, to have a copy of the mail
for that account (pres...@foo.com) delivered to a mailbox local to the mail
backup.
Can Courier do this?

I just did this. You need to:
Have an entry for the domain in your esmtpacceptmailfor.dir/ directory. Remove, if you have, the entry for the domain from hosteddomains/ directory. Have an entry in esmtproutes to the primary MX.
Run makeacceptmailfor and makehosteddomains. You are through.
