After I installed the Google sidebar, I began having problems with
Outlook 2003, when someone sent an attachment in a folder. Such as
received from AOL members. That is, when you get an e-mail, and it
has a folder attached, you click on the folder and the subsiquent e-
mail opens, and so on, until you get to the origional message. Well,
after installing the Google Sidebar Gadget, any e-mails with the
folder attachement simply would not open and not provide an error
message. Following countless searches for resolution, running detect
and repair, and even doing a regedit... I was unable to fix this
problem. The problem first showed up following the re-install of the
Google Side bar gadget... on my XP Pro SP2 system.
So, I uninstalled ALL the Google accessories, and rebooted. That
fixed the problem, and my Outlook 2003 e-mails with "folder"
attachements now open as before.
If there is a fix it would be great, as I really enjoied having the
Google Gadgets, but need to have the Outlook functionality more.
Thanks!
