Hello everybody,

I downloaded maildrop recently, to create a mail filter for our mail system. We run qmail and courier imapd.

The mail storage is maildir which is located underneath of /var/qmail/mailnames/<content_of_control/virtualdomains>.

I thought I will add a line to .qmail for every mail user calling a wrapper script for maildrop, because of the username/homedir relation. So I would set HOME=PWD, but that does not work, (most likely) because maildrop does read the homedir from the system. (same with -d options)

Is there any other possibility to use maildrop with our mail system? courier imapd and qmail do collaborate without any problem. How do I get maildrop to do also? Is there a way to read the homedir from /var/qmail/user/poppasswd without patching the source code? Wouldn't that be a good feature for maildrop, if it doesn't already have it?:-)

Your help is appreciated.

Best Regards,
