Wess, it was really a nice reading.
Just to remember us on the roots of this subthread: the question was whether the Perforce=B4s support for external merge tool (an lack of own tool) is an advnatage or disadvantage.
When writing your reply, did you realise what the core of your advices for Francois and me is?
Francois shall search the web for TCL, download it , learn it, adopt scripts, installal and configure it on his workstations. This labour cost may well double the price for his perforce installation - but who cares? I shall not feel this is a problem for me there is apparently no TCL/TK for OS2. Main thing is, I had good time doing good web search these days. Last but not least, me and maybe Francois too shall quit my/our jobs and move to better development environments.
I have accepted this extract from your mail as well-done try to bring a bit of humour to this forum. Hope you can see my mail with same eyes.
