Greetings. Please let me apologize in advance for posting this message. I'm
sure this topic has been covered before, but I have not been able to find
anything in the archives or Google, and I need to get my webmail server back
online as quickly as possible.

I am running Debian Sarge with Postfix, Courier, MySQL, SMTP-AUTH, Quota,
SpamAssassin, and ClamAV. This is a fresh install to replace my email server
that failed last week. I have everything up and running, and everything works,
except sqwebmail. I installed expect, courier-authlib, and sqwebmail. I
followed the instructions as outlined in the sqwebmail INSTALL file. sqwebmail
starts and is running (ps aux | grep sqwebmail), and I get the login page.
However, no matter which user I try to log in as, I get the message "Invalid
Userid and Password." I have tried resetting the passwords through phpMyAdmin,
but I still can't log into sqwebmail. Email will work with an email client,
however, so I believe the problem is sqwebmail is either not contacting the
MySQL database, or it is unable to authenticate against it. However, I don't
know how to check for this. Also, during sqwebmail setup, it never asked for
any kind of MySQL authentication information (which surprised me a bit!).

I am somewhat at a loss as to how to proceed. Can anyone help me? I've been
without sleep for the past couple of days now...

Thank you.
