Subject:[courier-users] Packet and byte accounting from courier-imap logs?Actions...

Hi.

I'm trying to figure out how to get courier-imapd (and pop3d, and the ssl ones, too) to log how many bytes are sent during a session, possibly in the logout record.

A quick review of the compile-time options doesn't show much, and I don't see any configuration directives to do it... but I see comments in the changelog about adding this functionality (and none about removing it).

I'm trying to allocate the share of bandwidth usage on a shared server to individual accounts. I can roughly do this through iptables accounting on a host-by-host and service-by-service basis, but would prefer to be able to link behavior to specific accounts if possible.

Any suggestions?
